Giveaway: Thanks Dad! Chicken Soup for the Soul

If you like short stories with life-lessons that warm your heart and sometimes bring a tear to your eye, you'll love this collection in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Thanks Dad: 101 Stories of Gratitude, Love, and Good Times.  In true Chicken Soup for the Soul fashion, this book is one that you don't want to put down.

I have several Chicken Soup books...and I think I have had several of them for 15-20 years!  I'm always amazed at how the authors can bring together a group of stories that tug at my heart and teach so much.  In Thanks Dad, the stories are about fathers who show love and grace when it matters most.  I think many fathers and their children could relate to a lot of the stories, and hopefully enjoy their own memories of their dad as they read!

This would be a great gift for dads for Father's Day!  One reader can win  a copy of Thanks Dad!  USA and Canadian addresses only, please.

I think reliability is a great Dad quality. I know that my Dad has always been there for me when I've needed him and I couldn't imagine if he hadn't been.

I think the most important quality is being available to your children. Being there for whatever they need.

Being supportive of your childs dreams. I've been more fortunate then anyone I know with how great my Dad was and is about that. He always supports me.

One of the qualities I treasure is just being there. My step-dad is always just a phone call away and available to talk or help or whatever.

My dad has always been there for me, even though my parents were divorced for years. He still came across country to support me and my sister when my mother died, even when his new wife wasw very disrespectful towards my mom. He just loves the grandkids (5 of which are mine) and unfortunately he doesn't see them enough. Love no matter what.

Totally forgot to enter earlier. A good Daddy loves to be with his kids.

A quality that makes a good Dad? One that takes the time to listen to what his children has to say, no matter how absorbed he is in his daily newspaper!

This sounds like a terrific Chicken Soup book; I love all of their books, and probably have most of them. Another book I have read is Chicken Soup for The Teenager's Soul, and then gifted one to each of my children.
