Gifting Goodies (Giveaway)

Somehow the month of December has become a feast for all!  Well, I guess I do know how it happened: we want to share the joy of Jesus!  We gift food and we eat at party after party, too!

During the Thanksgiving holiday, I took my homemade applesauce to my sister's meal (one of three TG meals for us).  I did not want to worry about transporting glass canning jars back and forth, so I used my Rubbermaid TakeAlongs.

I decorated the sides with my new Sharpie Retractable Markers.
On the lid, I used the Sharpie Paint Markers.  I will likely give sugar-free applesauce to my diabetic brother-in-law this year at Christmas.  I will decorate a special container just for him, too, letting him know it is sugar free.
.
This time I did not ask for my children's help, but I think children would have a blast decorating a TakeAlong for a neighbor or friend!  Next year I think I will be able to trust my daughter with a permanent marker on a somewhat awkward writing surface.
I thank Rubbermaid and Sharpie for providing me with
15 piece set of TakeAlongs and various Sharpie markers.
Rubbermaid TakeAlongs 15 Multi-Pack: 5 Deep Square, 9 Square + Organization Rack
At this time of the year, everyone needs additional plastic containers so they can pass along or store leftovers, cookies, or applesauce!  I have to say that I was really pleased with both the retractable Sharpies and the Sharpie pens.  I already had several Sharpies that I use several times a week (seriously), but the retractable (clicky) Sharpies are even better!  The pens (different than the markers) are great enough for daily use, too.  I hope they last for years like my old, standard Sharpies have!  (But just in case, did you know that Sharpie now offers a stainless steal refillable marker?)

If you are interested in using your own set of TakeAlongs and some great Sharpie markers, they would like to give one Live, Love, Learn reader (in USA or Canada only) a set!
GIVEAWAY!
To Enter:
Leave a comment and tell me a Rubbermaid or Sharpie product that you use on a regular basis or would like to own.  (This is easy for me...I use the Rubbermaid TakeAlongs, Lock-Its ~highly recommend~, and storage tubs on a regular basis.  I swear by Sharpie markers-except when it comes to children!  They are just for my use since they really are permanent!)
Extra Entries: Leave a separate comment for each entry.
Visit the Rubbermaid blog or site and tell me something you learned or another product you think would be really useful. ~1 entry

I really appreciate working with Rubbermaid and Sharpie for the idea of gift giving because it is so practical-and reusable!

Giveaway will go through Sunday, December 12th.  Winner will be chosen by random.org and will be notified by a blog post on this site.

And I went to the Rubbermaid site and discovered that they now make cleaning supplies. Didn't realize that.

(Oh, and I forgot to say which of their products I have made use of in the past. I used their storage bins/containers for out-of-season clothes and Christmas decorations!)

From the Rubbermaid site I would love to have the Jumbo Shelf Organizer for my closet. It would help to organize my closet and free up space!

How did I miss this? I have Rubbermaid storage bins that I LOVE and I use Sharpie markers all the time. I always use a Sharpie to write the kids' names on things they bring to school, like backpacks and lunch boxes! I know it won't fade or wash off.

I love everything Rubbermade and have a bunch of their containers that I use for fridge storage. And who can live without sharpies? (I don't now how I missed this post earlier!)

I use Charpies all the time to write on CDs, storage bins, initials on clothing! Everywhere! I love my purple and lime green ones!

I would really like one other Roughneck small verticle storage sheds for our back patio, just to store commonly used tools like rake, hoe, shovel and such. So we don't have to go ALL the way to the garage and back to the back yard!
