I am trying to spend more time with the children when they are awake and more time cleaning and organizing when they are napping. I also want to be more purposeful in my Bible study and even recreational reading. After they go to bed, sometimes I will blog as I watch television with Derek...and sometimes I won't.
Other than some serious cleaning and organizing, I have some sewing to do. The first is a spring purse for me.
Here is a taste of the past. I love the fabrics for this spring bag, however it is too small.
This is the bag I made for fall/winter. It is the same pattern, just a bit bigger. You can see and read more here (including a link for the free pattern).
I purchased the fabric this weekend. Does anyone want to guess what color it will be this time?

I have been very sporadic in my posting also. I have been spending a lot of time outside with the kids and planting seeds!
I am guessing your fabric colors are maybe yellow or a robin's egg blue?
SO cute!!!
Sounds like you are setting your priorities up right!
I struggle with this but have been more purposeful about setting aside specific days for blogging. Almost every single post you see (99.9% of them) are prescheduled and a lot of the posts are worked on in a single afternoon. But for me and books, this works. If I were including more facts about my family life that wouldn't really fly.
I'm GLAD you are prioritizing your activities and finding what works best for you and I'll just enjoy whatever I see pop up!
I can definitely relate to these thoughts! I aim to post 2-3 times a week, but if it doesn't happen, oh well!
Not sure if I'll write any more guest posts for Offering Hospitality. Thank you for the comments you left on each one, though!
I really understand! I am really enjoying your blog and I am so glad to have met you through the bloggy world.
