After posting the earlier post today about not being impressed with the crafts at school, I just had to share that M painted a turkey at school today. It was the first time in five weeks that she used paint! Yippee for a new medium!
Yay! My mother-in-law substitute-taught a kindergarten class this year for 6 weeks (maternity leave for the teacher) and she kept talking about how the kids wanted to paint, but it's just not what she likes to do with kids. Those poor kids had to wait for their regular teacher to come back and I just always felt so sorry for them, lol! It is a lot of work, but so worth it. Glad your little one was able to have fun painting!!
