(well, you know, MOSTLY right until Derek had to come in and try to steal my glory) I have to admit, I don't put a fabric softener in every load I ever do. I'd say it's about half - like I definitely don't when I'm washing kitchen towels, etc. I don't know how many loads of laundry I do - but historically I seem to do several in a row when the hampers are getting full. So maybe 3 or 4 a week. We reuse bath towels for a week or longer, and I pretty much only wash sheets when there are accidents in the bed - but that's regular with the boys for some reason, only with them, never with Sis. (the kids, that is; WE don't have accidents, of course)Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11320336368732794711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4412423340656879377.post-30795695244936364852010-03-19T10:01:59.544-04:002010-03-19T10:01:59.544-04:00we're a family of 3 and since we live in an ap...we're a family of 3 and since we live in an apartment we don't do laundry as often. it can be a whole day event having to wait for available machines and whatnot. I'd say 4-5 loads every two weeks. Sometimes more if there's bedding and tablecloths to be washed.Evahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07543154811942665985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4412423340656879377.post-82707166139073214232010-03-18T19:57:05.927-04:002010-03-18T19:57:05.927-04:00I do two on Monday, two on Thursday, and one on Sa...I do two on Monday, two on Thursday, and one on Saturday. (of course sometimes this varies because we also occasionally have diaper leaks). So probably 5-6 loads a week.Miller Momentshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03994619037840617955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4412423340656879377.post-25048185914749444972010-03-18T15:14:44.337-04:002010-03-18T15:14:44.337-04:00I bought the laundry bar, the smaller size didn...I bought the laundry bar, the smaller size didn't even last a week (mind you I do 3 loads a day, not counting bedding), but the larger one has lasted almost 3 weeks already, and it works very well. I haven't noticed any skin problems with it, but it is perfumey. Be careful though, they can break loose from the side of the dryer, and then they are a mess.An Almost Unschooling Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07784076035361200243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4412423340656879377.post-85057132279101158062010-03-18T14:53:30.285-04:002010-03-18T14:53:30.285-04:00I just bought a bar Christi but haven't used i...I just bought a bar Christi but haven't used it yet b/c my new washer and dryer aren't here yet. They come next WED!!!! I am so happy to not have to go to the Laund. mat anymore. I would say I normally do about 6 loads a week. In the summer we seem to go through way more clothes from getting down and dirty.Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15344398224008332639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4412423340656879377.post-16645660167251420232010-03-18T14:31:52.872-04:002010-03-18T14:31:52.872-04:00I do at least one load of laundry a day. I just read about the Bounce dryer bar. You stick it in your dryer and it lasts for a certain number of loads. The bar actually tells you when it needs to be replaced. We have really sensitive skin so we usually use the all natural dryer sheets. I'm very curious about that bar though and wonder if it would be okay for our skin!Christy Killoranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07159841014641280973noreply@blogger.com
