On my mental "get from library" list now! They are R's favorite chapter books and the chapters are really short so they are perfect for her attention span. Plus, Little Bear is so sweet!

I read your comment on Almost Unschoolers and had to laugh because I have left the same comment about her white rug in the past!!! Six children and a clean white rug - she is doing something very right!!!Christy Killoranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07159841014641280973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4412423340656879377.post-68249138412593902992011-01-27T13:19:19.141-05:002011-01-27T13:19:19.141-05:00Love, love, love Frog and Toad and Henry and Mudge...Love, love, love Frog and Toad and Henry and Mudge. My oldest son loved Henry and Mudge so much that he had a Henry birthday party the year he turned 4. It wasn't a Henry and Mudge theme but a copy of Henry's birthday party in one of the books. He wanted to play all the same games, have the same kind of cake, etc. We gave copies of the book as favors. I was sad when he outgrew them but now my second son is starting to enjoy them so I get to read them all over again.Alice@Supratentorialhttp://www.supratentorial.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4412423340656879377.post-37149647802582727792011-01-27T12:27:59.622-05:002011-01-27T12:27:59.622-05:00I'm still waiting to explore the Arnold Lobel ...I'm still waiting to explore the Arnold Lobel books with my daughter.
